"Here we go again... Tap. tap. tap. I didn't respond the first, second, or third time you tapped the tank dipshit, why would I respond now?! Gosh I HATE this place. Hey, another fish! Interesting. wow, a new castle! I wonder what's in there.... Nothing. Interesting. Hey, another fish! Interesting. Oh food. The one perk of living in this… wait, where am I again? Oh wow, a new castle! I wonder what's in there.... Nothing. Interesting. Oh FFS will you STOP tapping!!!"

I need to write about something warm, because my fingers are so cold they feel like i could snap them off at the knuckle and use them as swizzle sticks. So here is my list, in no particular order, of some of the most fun things to do in winter....
- drink hot chai
- drape yourself in your thickest doona and sit by the window watching the rain
- catch the hail, then run your fingers under a hot tap
- run from work to your car, drive home freezing cold, and jump straight into the shower
- curl up in bed, electric blanket on extreme heat, and lose yourself in a book
- fall asleep on the couch with a cat on your lap
- be wrapped in someone elses jacket, with them still wearing it.....
- stuff a hot water water bottle under your jumper
- push your toes under someone elses legs in bed
- remember summer
- listen to the rain as you fall asleep
- jump in puddles with gum boots that go up past your knees
- make a 'winter mix' cd and listen to it while driving on shiny, slippery roads
- create a new soup out of strange vegetables in the bottom of your fridge
- buy a brand new coat that makes you feel like you've just come back from London
- heat up your milk before you pour it on your weetbix
- wear uggboots and mittens to uni
- kiss in the rain
- spend half an hour trying to drive to the end of a rainbow before it vanished
- smell the smoke from people lighting fires, and come home to see your chimney smoking
- wish for snow
- eat hot waffles at the glenelg choclit shoppe whilst watching people running down jetty road
